Hey Kickstarter Backers!  

It's Kevin, creator of the EcoQube and I've got news for you all!  

From April - December last year, we worked day and night on making sure the EcoQube Air is the best product any Kickstarter Creator could possibly deliver. Because of your tremendous support, we were able to go above and beyond our promises to incorporate even more features in safety and usability (more to update you all on soon!) that many of you have acknowledged. THANK YOU!

As we completed the development and began production in September, I began working on a simple new concept I wanted to create for myself. It’s since flourished (literally) and turned into a very exciting new product. In the meantime my operations partner, Evan has been 100% focused on fulfillment and as many of you all have noticed, he’s not only handling the fulfillment of EcoQube Airs extremely swiftly, he’s also responding as quickly as he can to your feedback and questions too.

  Anna is focused on providing you with regular updates and useful resources (more to come), and Andrew has physically been at our factory the past 5 weeks passing on any feedback you may have for us directly to the factory floor. We’ve onboarded extra help from many others as well to ensure the success of this campaign.  

If you missed it, check out the latest update on shipping of the Air that we posted to Kickstarter last week. 

While all this has been going on, I’ve been working closely with the team and making sure everything goes as we planned. 

 During this process, I’ve discovered micro-veggies, which led to the product I am SO excited to share with you. I have been brainstorming and working on a new idea that I’ve had for nearly a year and actively working on it since September. Our team and I have finally gotten to the point, where we can share this with you. 

Since my discovery of micro-veggies, which have up to 40X the nutrients that their fully-grown counterparts (e.g. regular veggies) have, I have been hooked. 

But they can still cost around $30-50 per week to eat, which was difficult for me to afford. 

And traditional micro-veggie gardening options aren't ideal either.

It can get messy and smelly quickly, 

Taking up space that you don't have, 

And it can be difficult to not flood the seeds 

As a novice gardener and inventor,

Shipping Update

Hey Kickstarter Backers!  

Our team at ADI has loved receiving pictures and feedback from those of you that have started to put your Air to use. Keep them coming and share them with the Kickstarter community!  

From just a few of you:

We are continually working hard to make sure the product is delivered to all of our backers and we thank you for your patience in this.  

There are many moving parts in this campaign, with making sure all the pieces come together, but we have been in constant communication with our domestic and international fulfillment center to ensure that the product is shipped as soon as possible.

Working with our international fulfillment center, we have done our part to move shipment along. We’ve manually gone through excel sheets through thousands of orders to make sure the format fits the requests of the fulfilment center. They are scheduled to ship out the units we have provided them next week once they receive packaging supplies they need.  

Our product engineer is currently in China working on product development and will be making an extra trip to Hong Kong just to check up on the progress of the international orders.  

Within the next 10 days, we will successfully have had 90% of North American orders of Airs shipped to our backers.  

 For those of you that have been asking about tracking information, you should be receiving an e-mail from Backerkit within a couple weeks to track your product.  

We have done everything possible to ensure that your product is delivered efficiently to you in quality condition. We are also producing more useful content to help you as you integrate the Air into your life. Check out our Youtube and blog for useful and informative content.

As we’ve been working on the Air Kickstarter campaign, we have kept looking for new ways to be productive by getting connected with nature. We’ve shared with you about the health benefits of micro-veggies and provided you with an awesome recipe to try out.

Our experimentation with micro-veggies hasn’t stopped, especially as we keep seeing them pop up in our daily lives, like the arugula (a micro-veggie) that was on our pizza the other night.  

We’ve discovered some amazing ways they can be incorporated into your diet to make great tasting meals.  

Curated especially for you, here are the benefits of 5 types of micro-veggies along with some easy uses for when you don’t know what to eat for lunch.

1. Arugula: An excellent source of fiber and antioxidants that benefit your healthy bones and skin, arugula can be roasted with a pot of vegetables drizzled with olive oil and pepper to add some tangy flavor to a great appetizer!

 2. Broccoli Sprouts: Broccoli sprouts have powerful antioxidants that help strengthen the immune system and also contain sulforaphane, which helps prevent cancer. Check out the Micro-veggies Energy Salad recipe from our last blog post to see how you can incorporate broccoli sprouts into your diet!

 3. Cilantro: Cilantro is high in antioxidants and may help improve sleep quality and lower anxiety. Add some cilantro to a freshly made guacamole, to give it a kick of flavor or sprinkle it on some carne asada or fish tacos!

 4. Kale: This micro-veggie has been growing in popularity and a lot of it has to do with the fact that it is low in calories and lutein-rich, which facilitates eye health. It can be chopped up and mixed with your favorite ingredients to be included in a tasty salad. Alternatively, if you are one who thinks kale has a slightly bitter aftertaste, you can juice it up with a mix of apples, carrot, lettuce, honey, and lemon for a boost of antioxidants!

5. Spinach: Chock full of protein, vitamins, and iron, spinach is a favorite amongst the ADI team. For a special twist, buy or make your own tortilla corn or flour chips and dip them into a delicious spinach and artichoke dip. Another idea is to add handfuls of spinach to your favorite casserole for added nutrition and flavor.
